Emily Schultz

Emily Schultz, founder of Horizon Employment Law, has a strong background in employment law, compliance, and neutral workplace investigations and over 25 years of legal experience in California and Washington.

As an attorney-investigator and Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI) Certificate-Holder, Emily has conducted more than 1,000 workplace investigations, helped multinational companies develop investigation programs, and trained HR teams on investigation practices. A former litigator with trial experience, Emily also advises global organizations through every stage of the employee lifecycle.

Emily earned her Bachelor’s degree with High Honors from the University of California, Davis, and her Juris Doctor from Santa Clara University School of Law. She is also an active member of the International Bar Association, American Bar Association, AWI, SHRM, and California Lawyers Association.
