EEOC v. Wish Farms CA, LLC, No. 2:26-cv-06528 (C.D. Cal. June 16, 2026).
On June 16, 2026 the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) disclosed that Wish Farms CA, LLC (Wish) in California resolved a sexual harassment lawsuit by agreeing to pay $550,000.
The EEOC’s lawsuit alleged that beginning in 2020, female Wish employees were subjected to severe and ongoing sexual harassment from managers, supervisors, crew leaders and coworkers, in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The misconduct included nonconsensual touching of employees bodies, repeated demands for sexual favors along with sexual comments regarding employees’ bodies.
In addition, the EEOC alleged that Wish’s HR team failed to investigate the complaints or take meaningful action to prevent further harassment, and employees who reported the misconduct faced retaliation, including termination or reassignment to different duties. Ultimately, multiple Wish employees resigned because of the increasingly hostile workplace conditions.
Wish not only agreed to pay $550,000 to resolve the claims, but also to implement anti-harassment policies, training programs and other workplace reforms to ensure that no future misconduct occurs. The EEOC concluded that Wish acted intentionally and with malice by failing to address repeated complaints and allowing the harassment to continue for years.
